Sadly it seems like my P.I. counterparts have neglected this poor ol’ blog, but fortunately, you have me, always dedicated to the cause, even though I have 56 K internet, which as I like to say, brings about the destruction of mankind, and all things awesome (IE. Me), plus it’s really slow.
But anyways to the story, It started with a slow day of work, running left and right trying to find something to do, because donations were slow coming. Besides being bored to the death, I just ran in circles to try and pass the time. When I got home it was 5:30ish, and I was damn tired, so I washed up and expected a quiet night, topped off with an episode of “Lostâ€. But that day, I lucked out, my friend Chris from Napanee, who went to Holy Cross for all those Kingston folk out there, but now is at Guelph University, was in town for the whole week for work, so he calls me up and asks if I wanted to hit up the grand Quinte Mall, and as fatigued as I was from the day I agreed to this random adventure, considering I really haven’t been out and about for leisure since I got back to Belleville in late April.
So I was thinking we’d drive up to the mall, because it’s quite the way away from where we lived, but surely enough, we ended up walking about 45 minutes to the mall. It was great though, I got to see the quaint town in a more relaxed state…no difference from before sadly. It was a good walk, and I made many observations as I progressed along
Anyways, it was a fun walk, we went to the mall, and upon seeing a small Audioslave poster advertising its release date, I immediately got excited, not giddy or anything, just stoked. Walking around the mall saw some old high school people, but unfortunately, 2 years passing, they don’t fucken remember who the hell I am, I don’t give a damn though, shit happens, and there’s nothing I can do. Except be an arrogant bitch about it.
So Chris got birthday presents for his younger Sister and Brother, and we walked around the mall a few more times before hitting up Chapters, then out of nowhere, we are in the LCBO, buying beer. I ended up buying Steamwhistle, and let me tell you, it is awesome, an easy drink, smooth, and micro brewed in Toronto, just like how Alexander Keith’s was micro brewed in Halifax (I think), before it became a big company.
Anyways, this was still at the mall when I brought it, so we had to walk all the way back to my pad, which was a 45ish minute walk, so first while I was walking home with a 6 beer case of bottles, it was kind of awkward at first, waking around 2 clicks with beer in my hands, but after I really didn’t care, you always see other people walking around with 2-4’s of beer and they damn well look like rednecks, so I came to the conclusion that I look like and awesome Asian redneck, considering that there are none, then it makes me just awesome (you know it). We ended up hanging out on my porch drinking beer and reminiscing about the latter days, and the greatness of previous adventures.
So the day was salvaged, and the excursion turned out to be pretty fun, and the beer culminated a great day.

GREEN DAY CONCERT IN SEPTEMBER….I tremor in anticipation.
Ok everyone, I’m going to recommend everyone to watch The Hour on CBC, because it is a great show if you want to keep up with things happening in the world today. He even talks about things that the mainstream media tend to gaze over.
